HI, I AM KATE BLOOM

I am a photographer who enjoys capturing your most beautiful memories, your real life excursions, your in home homemaking and child rearing, and your outdoor hobbies and adventures. We'll get to know each other and go on a journey together to capture your most beautiful and profound memories through the use of natural lighting and real life spontaneity. 

I studied film and photography in college, I enjoy the artistry that belongs in both art forms. I've been working in the photography industry for over 10 years now. In 2014 I started working part time as I raised my two boys with my partner, but now I'm back and ready to get busy capturing your most profound life moments. Now in my 40s, I am more confident and more aware of what is beautiful and what is meaningful in our lives. I've gone down all roads of photography and found I truly enjoy shooting the real family life and the real expressions of love and joy in the home or on location. It's wonderful being able to capture true joy and laughter as it comes naturally through family dynamic and in our most important life experiences. 

I really enjoy intimate portrait work with families or with individuals. I believe we all have an inner beauty that can express the light and dark nature of our self.  I am truely and happily LGBTQ friendly in all realms of my life.

I love working directly with my clients, capturing their personality in my photos. I shoot from the heart. I capture your prized moments with a photojournalistic, creative technique. Plus your group shots can be taken in a traditional or creative style.
